When things started heating up, they didn’t waste a second. One call and they technician Jahmal at our door, making sure our pups could stay safe, comfortable, and cool during the summer heat.

Scallop was especially relieved. She was pretty disappointed when she found out she wasn’t getting to meet Eddy in person, but having cool air back in the house definitely helped lift her spirits. 💙🐶

Rescue takes a village, and we are incredibly grateful for local businesses that step up when we need them most. Thanks to the team at Windy City HVAC Repair, our dogs can focus on what they do best—playing, napping, and practicing their puppy-dog eyes for future forever families. ❤️

We’re gearing up for a doubleheader weekend, kicking things off Friday night at Book Bar’s Summer Market for Friday Night Lights, followed by Draft Day at PetSmart Mokena on Sunday!

Both events are listed under the Events tab, and we hope to see you there for cuddles, tail wags, and maybe even a few forever matches. 🐶

🚨 UPDATE ON ROUX 🚨

A few days ago, this tiny 3-pound puppy had all of us terrified after suffering a serious electrical burn injury. Thanks to quick veterinary care, an incredible foster, and the support of our community… Roux made his comeback. 💚

And now?

🏈 Roux is officially accepting applications for his forever family. 🏈

This little fighter is healed, thriving, and ready to find the forever family he was always meant for.

Roux is a tiny Pomeranian with a huge personality, endless love to give, and enough resilience to inspire everyone around him. He’s looking for a home that will continue cheering him on through the next chapter of his story.

We truly cannot thank everyone enough for the donations, shares, prayers, and support that helped get him here. Rescue is never a one-person job… and Roux is proof of what a team can accomplish together.
