April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and MINET is honored to continue our partnership with Family Building Blocks and Les Schwab Tires for the 17th Annual Diaper Drive.

While our community typically rallies to collect 60,000 diapers each year, we’ve set our sights even higher for 2026: a goal of 100,000 diapers.

You can help us bridge the gap for local families. Throughout the month of April, we are accepting donations at our main office during regular business hours. We are specifically looking for:

Diapers (Sizes 5, 6, and 7)

Pull-ups

Baby wipes

Thank you for helping us support the families who need it most!

Today’s term: Buffering

Buffering happens when a video or stream pauses to load more data before it can continue playing.

Instead of playing smoothly, it stops… loads… then starts again.

Why it matters:
Buffering usually means your connection cannot keep up with the stream. This can happen if your internet speed is too low, your network is busy, or the connection is unstable.

The more consistent and capable your connection is, the less buffering you will experience.

Think of it like watching a movie that has to keep stopping to download the next scene before you can keep watching.
