Monroe MPowrd

Mpowrd will be meeting Thursday, September 29 at 6:00pm. We will be meeting at the Monroe YMCA. Mpowrd is run by 2 of 3 certified facilitators in all of Michigan. Children 12 and older are welcome. This is free and snacks provided.

TFA has now fully transitioned to Monroe MPowrd. It now combines my own ideas with the training I received for an established, evidence based program called MPowrd. MPowrd began as a program that called itself Teen AA until the writer realized that Teens with any addiction needed the same 12 steps and direction. All addiction is a family disease, hence Teens in Family Addiction, Co-dependency, anorexia, family substance abuse, personal substance abuse, cutting... All these teens think the same in regard to their addictions. Addiction is defined as "Any behavior that causes personal Harm." By the author, Susan Rothery... This program is 100% free. We have structured meetings as well as projects. Lots of things. All free to the participants. Please feel free to call, email and/or join us.
