the cold is REALLY making me miss those summer nights and perfect golden hour shoots 💛

throwing it back to where this journey really kicked off. little did i know that “I have a camera. But I can’t promise they’ll be any good.” would light a fire under a piece of me that i didn’t know was missing. crazy to think this was just back in august and i’ve learned SO MUCH. thankful for everyone that has helped me along the way and has allowed me the privilege of capturing their moments.

the joy, the love, the ✨magic✨ of the season captured at a quaint tree farm in the middle of no where.

matthes has a special place in my heart. it’s where i had my first “real job.” the place i spent every weekend in december for many of my teenage years. the place that my best friend and her entire family treasured and worked so hard for. this is truly a full circle moment and i’m so happy that i can be back in this place and enjoy it’s beauty from a different perspective.
