Black-capped chickadees have to be one of my new favorite birds to photograph. They aren’t shy of people, so they will get very close, but damn are they fast and hyperactive. You get 1-2 seconds max to take a shot; and trying to target a fluttering bird at 12 feet with an 800mm lens is challenging. Super fun way to spend a morning though! 🌤🐦
