Rest is not always stillness.
Sometimes rest looks like:
dancing in your kitchen,
getting out in the sun,
turning off the noise,
riding the wave of your emotions instead of fighting them,
or finally giving your ADHD brain the mental and sensory rest it actually needs.
I stopped trying to regulate my ADHD with pressure and started finding my rhythm instead.
Thatās when the brain fog started lifting.
Thatās when the clarity came back.
Thatās when I stopped feeling at war with myself.

ā¬ļøā¬ļøš±š±Iāve been a walking contradiction for a long time. Struggling with physical rest and transitions for over 36 years.
But I now know finding the rest rhythm that works for my ADHD brain and rest boundaries that protect my boundless creative energy are essential for mental clarity and focus.
