2021 was a challenging year in many ways, but it also an important milestone for me: publishing my first book! Looking ahead to 2022, I hope to continue getting The Dream Weaver out there, but also have a few ideas kicking around for the next one. Happy 2022! - Joel

My daughter Lumen was my inspiration for The Dream Weaver, and I borrowed heavily from her imagination. When she was 2, she drew a picture, and I couldn’t quite make out what is was. When I asked, she said it was a “firefighter spraying pizza out of his hose.” 😂 I couldn’t help but incorporate that into the book, through a visualization of Lumen’s dream.
