I am at my son's for the holiday. This is right where I should be. I feel so loved and safe. It is tough being without my Daniel. He would have loved Justin and Ricki's home. It is so tranquil here. We have too much food to...lol

This is going to be a tough holiday for me without the love of my life beside me. I am decorating our creek house in honor and memory of my love. Daniel chose so many of our decorations with me. I know he would not want me to not enjoy the holiday. I am going to my son's for Christmas this year for the first time. Together with Justin and his family maybe the holiday will be better. We both miss Daniel to the max. If you are grieving also, I was told it will get better with time but you will never forget the blessed moments with your forever love.
