I'm the author of the forthcoming Beeya Adventures picture book series, delighting young readers with humorous, heartwarming stories full of quirky animals and gentle lessons. My whimsical tales are inspired by my lifelong love of storytelling, a deep affection for animals, and the clever antics of my apricot-colored mini goldendoodle, Blue, who can open doors.
I have a background in writing and a creative spirit that refuses to sit still. I craft books that encourage curiosity, kindness, and laughter. My stories celebrate imagination and the small wonders of childhood—often with a mischievous twist. I live in the American South, where I write, knit slowly (if only I had more time), drink Diet Pepsi religiously, and care deeply for my family.
I publish the Beeya books under the Zany Zebra Books imprint. Under separate names, I have a series of children’s books about Meena Mouse and also am working with a co-writer on a cozy Southern Gothic mystery, proving one writer can live three literary lives—at least with enough caffeine.
