I made this little video of Nelly (audio from tiktok). It has been one of my favorite things to listen to in response to a loss of a pet. Eventually, you can allow yourself to open your heart and give all that love to a new pet, the same you did to the one who passed. I think it’s a great way to honor them.

I think of Nelly every day, and her absence in the house has left a big hole. I’ve lost two cats now, and they’ve both left the house feeling more empty.
