Budbreak marked the start, when dormant vines pushed out new growth: buds, shoots, and the beginning of it all.

Ever wonder what ‘harvest’ means in the world of wine? It’s the most crucial step in crafting a great bottle! As grapes mature, they go through stages, from veraison (when they start turning color) to overripe. The art of winemaking lies in picking them at their perfect ripeness, ensuring the best flavors and aromas are locked in. Too early, and they’re too tart. Too late, and they lose that vibrancy we love.

In the quiet, early hours of the morning, we began harvesting the Lunar Ridge Syrah grapes—one of the most exciting and labor-intensive moments of the year.
