What a week it has been for Chasewood Learning! Our robotics teams just made history at the Illinois State Championships and we had to share the full story with you.

Our VEX IQ middle school teams pulled off a one point victory to win the State Championship AND swept every major award, Excellence, Skills, and Design. A clean sweep! Our VEX V5 middle school teams both finished as State Champions and both qualified for Worlds. And our high school team fought all the way to the semifinals of the State Championship.

Multiple teams. Multiple programs. One unforgettable week.
It is rare for a single organization to produce this kind of talent across the board, and we could not be more proud of every single student who competed. These kids worked so hard and it showed.

Get ready for an exciting day of elite middle school robotics competition in Illinois. The 2026 VEX IQ Middle School State Championships will take place on March 13th at Shanahan Elementary, bringing together top teams from across the state to showcase innovation, strategy, and engineering excellence.

Chasewood Learning is proud to have two of our middle school VEX IQ teams competing for a coveted opportunity to advance to the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri. Our students have dedicated months to designing, building, coding, and refining their robots while developing advanced problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
