Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue is excited to be attending the Collier County First Responders Appreciation Day event, and we hope you'll stop by to say hi!
Here's what we can promise:
🐾 Good dogs 🐾 Good people 🐾 Questionable levels of dog hair 🐾 Tail wags 🐾 Smiles 🐾 A whole lot of appreciation for our local heroes 🚔🚒🚑
And if we're really lucky...
🐕 You might fall in love. 🐕 You might accidentally leave wanting to foster. 🐕 You might meet your future best friend.
(No guarantees...but we've seen stranger things happen. 😉)

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR PENNY 🚨
Penny wasn't the breed we set out to save, but she was the life that needed saving.
When this puppy needed help, Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue stepped up. Now Penny needs someone to step up for her.
Due to a change in circumstances, Penny's current foster will no longer be available in one week. That means this sweet girl urgently needs a new foster home to keep her out of boarding and continue her journey toward finding a forever family.
Penny has done everything we've asked of her. She's waited patiently, been a wonderful rescue ambassador, and continued to hope that her people would find her. Unfortunately, she has received very little interest, and now she faces losing the foster home she has come to know.
We refuse to let Penny down.
Can you open your home and heart to a puppy in need? Fostering saves lives, and right now, it could save Penny from entering boarding while she waits for her forever family.

While German Shepherds are our focus, we have never been able to turn our backs on a dog that truly needed help simply because it wasn't the "right" breed. When Penny needed saving, we said yes.
Now we're asking someone to say yes to her.
Penny is everything a puppy should be—sweet, loving, playful, and full of hope. Yet despite all she has to offer, she has received little to no interest.
It's heartbreaking to watch her wait while applications come in for other dogs and none come for her.
We know her family is out there. The person meant to love her just hasn't found her yet.
Please help us change that.
Share her story. Tell your friends. Help us find the home this precious girl deserves.
