8-foot alligator hiding in attic startles home inspector A home inspector in North Carolina uncovered more than just potential structural issues or code violations this week.

Another quirk found!

Several cylinder piers were placed under the center of the home. Most likely these piers were placed as secondary support, however they were placed in an unusual way. Right under the subfloor rather than the adjacent joists and main girder.
