We went from 12-14 eggs daily to FOUR! 😞

This past year has been a roller coaster of life! The ups and down have been some of the highest and also some of the lowest moments….

What started as a garden to keep my hands busy when I first got sober has grown into so much more!

I am now a little over 2 years and 8 months sober. This last year has taught me a lot about myself, our homestead and what we want from it!

Here’s to creating the life we love and hanging out with my feral chickens and A-hole goats! 🤣🤣🤣

We got our babies moved to the big coop. It still needs work but I am so excited how it’s coming along!

Is mopping your house like a secret Batman signal for EVERYONE to come out of their rooms at the same time to walk through where your trying to mop, animals included….

Or is that just my house? 🤣

I’ve been a little MIA lately… and honestly, that’s because I’ve been living the life I’ve been dreaming about.

Lately it’s looked like slowing down, taking care of my home, building new routines, spending more time with my family, working on my health, and taking small steps toward the future we’re creating.

Not every season is meant to be documented in real time. Sometimes the most beautiful growth happens quietly.

Rooted & Rising has always been about building a life with intention—not perfection. So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, I’m still here… just a little more present in my real life than on my phone.
