New Castle City Topics

Today & the next few days will be VERY HOT ☀️ ... For those who lack a place to cool down (such as no AC at home), did you know that the City of New Castle has two places you can go?

While neither is an official state 'Cooling Center,' both New Castle Public Library and the New Castle Senior Center stand ready to help folks beat the extreme heat while they're open on days like these. (For the senior center, membership is not required for this service, but you do still have to be 50+ years of age.) Thanks to both institutions for their willingness to help their neighbors. 🩵
