🧼 Did you know that many of the "soap" bars you buy at the grocery store aren't actually true soap?

Many commercial cleansing bars are made with synthetic detergents designed to create lots of lather and have a long shelf life. While they clean well, they can also remove too much of your skin's natural oils, leaving your skin feeling dry, tight, itchy, or irritated—especially if you have sensitive skin.

True cold process soap is different.

At My Pretty Little Soapery, our soaps are handcrafted using the traditional cold process method with tallow and goat milk.

✨ Here's why that matters:

🤍 Naturally occurring glycerin is retained. During the cold process soap-making method, glycerin is naturally created and remains in the finished bar. Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it helps draw moisture to your skin. Many commercial soap manufacturers remove glycerin to use in higher-priced skincare products.

🤍 Tallow is rich in skin-loving fatty acids. It creates a creamy, conditioning lather that helps support your skin's natural moisture barrier instead of leaving it feeling stripped.

🤍 Goat milk adds extra nourishment. Naturally containing vitamins, minerals, and milk fats, goat milk helps create a gentle, luxurious bar that leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized.

🤍 Made in small batches with quality ingredients. We focus on ingredients your skin can appreciate—not unnecessary fillers or harsh detergents.
