Did you know that, in as much as fasting reveals your physical hunger, it goes on further to reveal the deeper desires within you that you may not even have been aware of? At the end of Jesus’ fast, His appetites were exposed because fasting brings hidden desires to the surface. It reveals what you truly long for, and what you need to confront. What rises during a fast is what has been living within you without your knowledge and once your desires come to light, you know exactly what to deal with.

When God has already told you in His word that you can pray about anything, then it means there is no justification at all for you to be worried about anything. The problem with praying from a position of worry is that it causes you to pray amiss. The statements you are likely to make in that kind of a prayer will compromise its power. But when you pray without worrying, your answers are definite.

The worst thing about worrying after prayer is that it is a statement. It's a demonstration of your faith and belief in God's inability to handle your situation. But, child of God, if you have prayed and truly believe that God answers prayers, then worry no more and instead, move on to giving Him thanks because the next thing coming your way is a testimony
