is a vitally important and exciting member of the Micasa community.

A native of Switzerland with a background in film and media, Arabella now lives here in Brooklyn, working as writer and an art critic, reviewing exhibitions happening in New York as well as in Europe. Her articles have appeared in Riot Material, Le Temps, Litro UK, Arte Fuse, The Decadent Review, and more.

Arabella is also the founder of , a new service that turns private homes into DIY art galleiries, providing local artists the opportunity to display their work in beautiful spaces without having to go through the traditional gallery system. GP hung several works at the Micasa fashion show last month!

A writer . . . a friend . . . an activist . . . a dreamer . . . a doer . . . Micasa is super-lucky to have Arabella among our core community of creative event-goers. Look for her at one of our events this spring, or wherever else impeccable taste is on display.

Shannon Cahalane is an unique and talented visual artist whose work will be featured at our upcoming fashion event.

On any given day, Shannon can be found galavanting around Brooklyn, turning local parks and rooftops into her studios, contemplating life, and manifesting momentum.

One of Shannon’s favorite creative modes is interpretive collage; she loves using her intuition to transform found media into abstract, intuitive recombinations. Can;t wait to see what she does next!

Look for Shannon at a Micasa event this spring, or at some other recombinative gathering of creative energies.
