Pathways to Student STEM Success Program

Tips for creating an inviting study space:
1. Find as a quiet a place a possible
2. Get good lighting. A window or overhead lamp are preferable
3. Set the temperature to as comfortable as possible (being to cold or too hot can be unconsciously distracting).
4. Have a trinket that reminds you it is time to study. (I have a small stuffed lama on my desk).
5. Keep all necessary tools near your workspace.
6. Try investing in a comfortable seat.
7. Try to have water and any necessary snacks close by.
