About Us

"Us" is actually me.....my name is Alexis and I am the owner and sole proprietor of PrideDrip.com. I have worked extremely hard and around the clock to showcase PrideDrip’s brand and the #letyourpridedriponthem movement. I have explored the world of trial and error when it comes to operating a business of your own and have failed tremendously at all of them. I couldn’t figure out why I was failing and to be honest I was very hard on myself because of it. Then I decided to sit down and write a list of things that I am good at, things I enjoy, and things that motivate me. The list wasn’t long at all but I realized that the things that I was good at were things that made me who I was. For instance, I am good with a pencil and paper. I can draw and write very well but never really thought any more of it. I am also good at designing, planning, and building things from the ground up. And last but definitely not least, I am extremely good at being GAY. That was a joke, well sort of. I am not “being” gay I am GAY....very gay and I am proud of that. It took a very long time to come out to my friends and family, but only for reasons that society had influenced upon me as I was growing up, not because I feared my family wouldn’t accept it. I was fortunate enough to have an AMAZING mother that didn’t turn her back on me once I finally got the courage to sit down and tell her that her only child was a le***an. All the years of my pretend “boyfriends” and fake “dates” with guys were finally over. Unfortunately, I know not everyone can relate. I have seen both friends and family who have come out and been abandoned by their parents, ridiculed and outcasted by the ones who they love most. I want to add fire to the flame that helps change that.

About a year and a half ago I lost my AMAZING beautiful mother to Uterine cancer, she was only 52. That experience changed my life forever. At first, it changed for the worse. I have to admit it was pretty bad. I am in no way over losing my mother, nor will I ever be. However, I have turned the pain and emptiness into drive and motivation. We would always sit and talk about my dreams and what I wanted to do with my life. She believed in me so much. She would remind me almost daily of my potential and would mention not letting it go to waste. So, this is for you MOM. I dedicate PrideDrip and the #letyourpridedriponthem movement to my Mother for being a PROUD parent of her one and only gay daughter and reminding me to always be PROUD of who I am, unapologetically. Thank you for all the sacrifices, support, and unconditional love you gave me. I promise I won't let it be for nothing.

My mission with the #letyourpridedriponthem movement is to support and empower our LGBT+ community with the reassurance that it’s okay to be who you are. I want to provide support and educate as many people as possible on the acceptance of being yourself and the acceptance of others. Together we can grow our movement and reinforce PrideDrip’s footprint in our LGBT+ community.
