College isn’t just about grades, it’s about building a life you won’t have to escape from.

Show up, even when you don’t feel like it. The real lessons are often hidden between the lines.

Talk to people, not just your friends. Your future business partner or mentor might be sitting a few rows away.

Learn a skill that makes you useful. Degrees are common, competence isn’t. Start something on the side. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to exist.

Ask more questions. Not to sound smart, but to get smarter. And don’t just chase careers, research lives. Find people who are where you want to be, then figure out how they got there.

Oh, and don’t forget to have fun. Because if you’re not careful, you’ll spend years preparing for a future you forgot to enjoy.
