I bet you never thought you’d find authentic German food in the heart of Puerto Rico? Neither did I, but that’s exactly what makes Casa Bavaria such a gem! Located high in the mountains between Morovis and Orocovis, this place is a vibe from the moment you start the drive. Winding roads, lush greenery, waterfalls and breathtaking views in every direction—seriously, it’s worth the trip for the scenery alone.
I have visited many times throughout the years, but one of best times is during the Oktoberfest celebration. The place was buzzing with great energy. The main area, bar, and back terrace are all beautiful, but the terrace stole my heart with its incredible panoramic views of mountains and rivers. It’s the perfect spot to sip a cold one and soak in the beauty of the island.
But let’s talk about the real reason you go: the food and beer. 🍺🤤 I dove into a German feast of Jägerschnitzel, Wiener Schnitzel, Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut, potato salad, and a slice of almond cake that absolutely incredible. Everything was so authentic that even my German friends approve! Fun fact: the owners are from Germany, so they know what they’re doing.
Whether you’re a foodie, a beer lover, or just in search of something unique, Casa Bavaria is a must-visit. Oh, and did I mention the drive up there is an adventure in itself? 🚙✨
