At Unruffled Paws, we make sure every interaction is intentional. Play is fulfilling—but also part of the training process.

Big paws to fill 🐾

This sweet girl is Dixie May, working hard to hold her place during her very first tandem training session with another board and train dog (just out of frame)! At only 8.5 months old, it’s completely normal for dogs like Dixie to be easily distracted—but moments like this are where the real growth happens.

Early in this session, Dixie May struggled quite a bit with staying focused, especially around another dog. But with patience, structure, and practice, she started to settle in and make progress, little by little. We still have a lot of work ahead, but this was a big step in the right direction 💪

Starting training early was the best decision her family could have made—she’s going to be a big dog with an even bigger personality, and the foundation we’re laying now is going to set her up for a lifetime of success.
