NYC DOT is working with Street Lab to help New York City Public Schools pilot Open Streets. In the case of PS32 The Belmont School in , the students have taken the lead planning & hosting Open Street events on Beaumont Ave next to their school.

As Anna Goldman, Movement and Mindfulness Teacher at PS32, says: "The open streets have created a space for us to thrive as a community here at PS 32, while we celebrate health, wellness, and one another! You can see, hear and feel the joy that has been created!"
