The U.S. Appeals Court has passed a decision forcing the Tik Tok app to be sold or banned early next year.

The decision is a big victory for the US Justice Department and will cause serious damage to the app's owner, Byte Dance Company.

Tik Tok, which is owned by Byte Dance company and has 170 million users in America, has been rejected.

Attorney General Merrick Garland said that the court's decision is an important step to prevent the Chinese government from using Tik Tok as a tool.

The Chinese embassy in America stated that the decision is a clear trade robbery and warned that America should handle the issue carefully so that it does not hurt the trust and relationship between the two countries.

According to the decision, Tik Tok could stop operating in America within the next 6 weeks if it chooses to be banned rather than selling to American companies.

Reuters reported that the Bait Dance company, which was founded by the US Department of Justice, is planning to appeal its decision to the Supreme Court.
