St. Anselm R.C. Church, Bay Ridge

St. Anselm Youth Activities held its annual 🐰 Bunny Brunch 🐰 on Saturday, March 28th in Bay Ridge Catholic’s Meletia Hall.

Scores of happy children, parents and grandparents had a fun afternoon ~ dancing, playing games, and enjoying a petting zoo ~ while waiting for the guest of honor: the Easter Bunny, who danced his way into the hall, and then posed with the children and their parents.
During the afternoon adults and children had the opportunity to try their luck on a wonderful selection of gift raffles and the ever popular 50/50 raffle.

“Thank you “ to Chairs: Danielle Elgart and Athena Maldari and all the volunteers for giving the children a wonderful day.

St. Anselm Church Dedicates Chapel to Longtime Pastor St. Anselm Church in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn has dedicated its rosary chapel to Monsignor Michael Phillips, honoring the longtime former pastor whose leadership shaped the parish for nearly two decades.

On Sunday, March 15th, Saint Anselm welcomed home Msgr. Phillips for a celebratory Mass and party to express appreciation for his 18 years of service as our pastor (1991 - 2009) and his residence with us as pastor emeritus. The highlight of the day was the dedication of the church’s Rosary Chapel as the Monsignor Michael J. Phillips Rosary Prayer Chapel.
