The fact that 200 million plus user passwords sat unencrypted is bad enough. That they were unencrypted for multiple YEARS is really, really bad. They were stored on an internal server which makes it even worse. It’s usually much easier to loot a system from the inside. All it takes is a confident individual armed with enough right answers and questions that make someone believe you belong. Kevin Mitnick is living proof of that.
Facebook apps logged users’ passwords in plaintext, because why not Unencrypted user credentials stored on Facebook internal servers as far back as 2012.

This is an interesting read. Automated calling software does respond and learn from hearing SIT’s, but the developers of those systems also reverse engineer devices like the Tele-Zapper in order to defeat them. For cell phones, you could record the tone and entire ‘disconnected/no longer in service’ message as your voice mail message. I’d loop it twice for effect. You could also use different combinations of the SITs and messages as your voicemail message.
