AIDS Walk New York is on May 19th, just 12 days away. After a few years off, I decided last minute to jump back in with a goal of $15,000. With only 12 days...I need your help! Regardless of the amount raised, as someone who has lived with HIV for 12 years, I am painfully aware of how important this event and the money raised continue to be in helping those living with the disease and in the in the fight to end this epidemic. AIDS Walk New York is an important institution in that fight and vital to our community. I hope you can find a way to donate, no amount is too small.nIf you can’t, remember that conversations are powerful too. So, use this time to talk about HIV/AIDS to someone you might not have before. It’s a powerful tool in opening the mind and heart.
