Our 40th Anniversary Gala on June 29th just got even more exciting…. We’re thrilled to announce that Naked Angels Founding Member and Academy Award-winning screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan (Manchester by the Sea) will join Ilana Levine’s Angels in Conversation panel, with fellow founders Rob Morrow, Jodie Markell, Bradley White, Patrick Breen, and Julianne Hoffenberg.
The panel will open our program at 7:45 PM, so be sure to arrive when doors open at 7:00 PM to grab food and drinks, browse our incredible raffle prizes, and find your seat before this epic reunion begins!

For 24 years, Naked Angels’ 1ST MONDAYS has given New York City writers something invaluable: the chance to hear their full-length work come alive before an audience, completely free of charge.
From early drafts to productions, films, and award-winning projects, 1ST MONDAYS has helped countless artists take the next step in their creative journey. Most recently, YOYOs by Lexi Graboski and Michal Sinnott grew from a connection made at TUESDAYS@9 to a 1ST MONDAYS reading and is now in post-production as a feature film.
As we celebrate 40 years of Naked Angels, we’re also celebrating the artists, audiences, and supporters who have made programs like 1ST MONDAYS possible.
Join us on June 29 at our 40th Anniversary Gala and help ensure the next generation of writers continues to have a free space to develop bold new work.
