I found the perfect buttons online for my new cardigan, and I still can’t believe my luck! I was hoping for a matchy color, but you never really know until it arrives… and when I finally sewed them on—wow. They are EXACTLY what I wanted 😍
The color, the design, even the size—it’s all just perfect. It’s amazing how a small detail like this can make the whole piece come together!
Do you usually go for safe button choices, or do you take a chance ordering online?
Just a kind reminder that the online sale is still running until April 15! ✨

A beautiful package just arrived from Junction Fiber Mill, and I couldn’t be more excited! 🧶
Inside were 2 skeins of yarns for me to try out and explore. As a designer, few things are more inspiring than opening a bag of new yarn and imagining all the possibilities—textures, colors, stitches, and shapes that could become something truly special. I can’t wait to start swatching and see what kind of design these yarns will inspire.
Junction Fiber Mill is located in White River Junction, Vermont, where a small team of passionate fiber lovers produces high-quality yarn from American wool. The mill was founded by two sheep farmers who wanted to celebrate the natural beauty of wool while supporting local farms and the fiber community. Their yarns are made from carefully sourced domestic wool and are often hand-dyed in rich, unique colorways.
One of the things I admire most about their work is their dedication to authentic wool.
And I already know what I’ll be designing with them: a colorwork cardigan. I’m very curious to see how these yarns behave on the needles and how the colors will work together in a stranded pattern.
Now I’m curious about your opinion too: what do you love most in a colorwork cardigan? Bold contrast, subtle tones, traditional motifs, or something more modern?
For now, I’m just enjoying the inspiration that comes with beautiful yarn and dreaming up the next design. Stay tuned! ✨
