Alums - *PLEASE READ FULL POST*

If you’d like to join the group song on Sunday, I’ve uploaded sheet music and rehearsal track (with and without vocal line) to a shared google docs file.

**I ask that you please only learn and sing this portion (ending) unless I’ve specifically spoken to you. The rest of the song is NOT like the recording. I have arranged it specifically for certain people.**

Please listen through to end of the track with parts as I give a few verbal notes as well.

If you have question/issues with viewing, I’m sorry I will not be able to assist until tomorrow as I am preparing music and tracks for 30 (!!!!) other singers. Ask your friends or I will get back to you tomorrow.

**To former Pineda Conservatory students**
If you’d like to join in a group celebratory song at this Sunday’s service, I will shortly post a Google Docs link to a short section of a song and rehearsal track. Please do not feel obligated/pressured if you’d rather just listen and enjoy. And if you are not available to join a short rehearsal directly before the service, I respectfully ask that you join us in spirit only. 😜

I’ve contacted several of you personally and will have your music and rehearsal tracks to you as soon as I can. For those I have not reached out to directly, I apologize for the oversight, but with limited time, and using the limited contacts I had, I had to move quickly to get the arrangement finalized. I’ve offered the above section so that those alums that want to celebrate in song can join if they so choose.

Thank you all for the kind messages and texts. I’m overwhelmed with the love and support. I hope to eventually respond to you all, so please be patient with me and I look forward to seeing so many of you this Sunday.

To all current Pineda Studio students and parents:

It is with heavy heart that I must announce that last weekend Patricia very suddenly and unexpectedly passed away from complications arising from a recent COVID infection.

Understandably, this devastating news will be confusing and shocking for many of you and for your child. Trish was so personally invested in each and every one of her students.

I had hoped to reach out to each student’s family personally to head off any gossip or rumors, but because of difficulties accessing her Studio records I thought it best not to wait any longer given the semester is scheduled to start very soon. And I know many of you have reached out to Trish and are still awaiting replies.

Again, my sincere apologies that many of you have to receive such terrible news through an impersonal group announcement. If you have any questions or concerns, please PM me (Fausto Pineda). When I’m able to access the Studio accounts, I hope to provide further updates and referrals for students wishing to continue their studies. I just ask for your patience as I may not be able to reply to you immediately.

Headed to Brooklyn to see my first live theatre in forever AND got to meet and watch a student perform that I’ve never met in person bc she started online during the pandemic! Congrats to Alina and the Radium Girls cast and crew at on a job well done!

Congrats Tony Mowatt , for booking the 40th Anniversary National Tour of ! One of our OG Pineda babies from the Westfield Summer Workshop, the Little Opera Co, and basically every Pineda thing after! We’re so proud of you, and excited for your next adventure!
