🤔Have you tried to use exercise as a tool to help you loose weight??
😬Maybe you are attempting to use it currently as a weight loss tool?
🤦🏻♂️I used to kill my self with exercise & literally would see no weight loss results for months on end…
Multiple HIIT workouts a week + weight lifting.
😞There were weeks were I would work out so much that I would come down with a cold because I was so rundown.
😫And the scale wouldn’t budge at all!
What gives?
Why was I not seeing any progress?
Well, my nutrition was all over the map.
I had no idea how much I was eating!
Not only did I not know what was coming in quantity wise.
There were many days and weeks were I actually ate more
“because I earned it”
Ever have one of those conversations with yourself?
I can eat more today because I burned more…
I hate to break it to you, but out training your diet is impossible.
Lets take a look at the numbers…
On average a moderate bike ride or run for 30 min can burn anywhere from
200-350 calories.
Thats the equivalent of a donut or a bagel.
So 30 min of exercise that created a calorie deficit erased with one or two off choices
during the day….
Now add that up over the course of weeks and months
Most people tell me that they eat clean and don’t understand why they are getting stuck.
This is why…
Don’t get me wrong, exercise is an important component to getting in better shape.
It helps with getting stress out.
It helps us increase our cardiovascular health.
It helps maintain muscle while we lose body fat.
It helps with tons of other aspects of our mental, emotional and physical health.
But its not the best strategy to help you lose weight 🙂
The best & most reliable way to burn more fat is to get your nutrition on point.
For some people exercise can make things more challenging when it comes to nutrition!
It can actually make you more hungry.
I should mention that it doesn’t happen to everyone, but can you imagine trying to stay on track
and getting your exercise in only to be famished afterwards?
Now you are fighting your biological urge to eat food for fuel.
What does this all mean?
Start with a customized nutrition plan first and center the rest of your routine around that.
