For nine years, a pediatric patient tilted his head just to see clearly. No one knew why and over time, it began affecting how he moved and held his body.
During a specialized exam for children with special needs, one of our doctors noticed that one of the patient's eyes sat slightly higher than the other. A prism lens was prescribed and the change was immediate. The child straightened his head and could finally move comfortably.
“She’s the best. My son needed more than a typical eye exam, and the doctor and staff provided that. As a parent, seeing him finally walk without the tilt is everything.”
With Doctors’ Day approaching, take a moment to thank a doctor who’s made a difference or consider donating to help more patients like this get the care they deserve. 💙
