I hope your holiday was safe and healthy!
As we all know, Covid is causing the need to go to remote learning again. While this isn't the optimal mode of education, it is the only alternative we have to slow the spread of Covid and keep people healthy.
There are arguments against remote learning. It has its good and bad like everything. But Learning4Remote strives to create lessons and educational support that gives remote learning a better structure.
Our approach is to help parents understand the exact curriculum they should be following using Common Core standards. We create specialized lessons that focus on reinforcement of skills using worksheets, games, videos, and live classes. Each grade has standards that need to be met to advance to the next skill set.
Let's say your child is having issues with fractions but the teacher has to move forward with the next skill set. Instead of your child falling behind as the class moves forward, you work on reinforcement of fraction practice until the child understands it. All of the lessons and resources are on-demand and available when needed so no time is lost.
The fee for access is $35 weekly or $140 monthly. There is no contract and you do not have to renew for any week or month you wish. Access will be restricted if you take a break but all resources are still there when you come back. It is your choice to renew each week or month.
We give parents a quarterly schedule of all skills that need to be mastered before moving on to the next skill. With Common Core, each skill is a building block to a corresponding skill in the next grade. You will be able to see exactly what skills your child should be learning and the time frame these skills are taught during the year. We give parents answer keys and teaching guides. We encourage parents to include their teachers in the planning of tutoring curriculum.
We are now registering for the 1st and 2nd quarter review for all grades. The month of January can be spent doing practice lessons to make sure what was taught between September and January has been retained, so your child's 3rd quarter is strong.
As you go through the lessons, you will see where your child excels and where they may need help. Lessons can be tailored as you move forward.
We use Google Classroom for our lessons and resources, and private 1:1 lessons are sent with Class Dojo.
To register, please see our site for more information. Send a message and let us know what subjects your child needs help with. Our site is easily translated into any language, and is viewed best with Google Chrome, using the translate function.
Looking forward to working with you as we deal with this difficult time.
