As I get ready for Pesach, I find myself listening to playlists full of good old songs.
Not Yaakov Shwekey from high school old, I’m talking Suki and Ding medleys type of old (who remembers those days?)
With so much of craziness going on this world, there’s a part of me that clings to those songs and wishes for those times, when things were simpler, where the world was more at peace, pre-pandemic, sky-high inflation, and war.
Tomorrow we usher in the holiday of Pesach. It’s our reminder that as much as we may look back and long for better days, we should actually be looking ahead to the times of the Redemption.
No matter how crazy the world may seem, and no matter how good the past appears in comparison, we aint seen nothing yet.
We don’t need to look backwards to see the good times.
Just look ahead to the days of the redemption.
The best times are yet to come
