This pinky ring was custom designed for Sensei John P Mirrione from a vintage blue topaz that belonged to his recently deceased mother. The stone was originally far larger than practical for a pinky ring, so we recut it, maintaining its significance and presence, but in a more wearable size.

The setting is restrained and modern, allowing the stone’s beauty and John’s connection to his mother to remain the focal point.

Every commissioned piece is meaningful, but some hit home more than others. I, too, lost my mother last year, and I understand the desire to maintain an ongoing tangible connection.

✨ One-of-a-kind brilliance ✨

At the heart of this custom-designed platinum ring is an exceptionally rare, unheated 2.73 ct color-change sapphire, surrounded by 12 bright, fiery green demantoid garnets. The center stone shifts from purple to blue, depending on the light environment.

This set of custom designed platinum wedding bands was made to honor a shared life.

His, finished in a soft matte with hand engraving on the edges.
Hers, polished to a mirror shine and set with fancy gray diamonds, laser engraved inside.

Both carry a Hebrew inscription:
‎“יחד איתך הוא המקום האהוב עלי”
(“Together with you is my favorite place.”)

A reminder that the most meaningful place is not a location, but a connection.
