Oahu Search and Rescue

This week OSAR team members learned about the basics of wilderness survival and then were able to practice some of the skills they learned. Today’s training was even more challenging due to the rain and steep terrain, matching realistic conditions our teams routinely encounter. Some of the skills our members learned were how to construct shelter, start a fire, signaling, finding and filtering water.
