Special Edition pen blanks produced with 80% real mother of pearl, paua and abalone combined with an easier to turn polymer than our ring stock.

Not for the beginner; sharp carbide tools, rasps and files required.

MUST WEAR DUST MASK WHEN WORKING WITH THIS MATERIAL.

80% of this blank is a natural part organic material. Small holes may be encountered while turning these blanks. Simple fill any holes that are close to your finished size with clear CA glue.

While this material closely resembles the remarkable beauty of it's more expensive cousin, M3x10 Nacre, it is not as strong. Ring makers should use a ring core with this material.

The Next Big Thing in Wedding Bands

A few month's ago a good business friend asked me "what would happen if we used real Mother of Pearl in the M3 process?" The answer is our most beautiful composite ever.

Turns out my friend owns a factory in South Korea that produces some of the finest Mother of Pearl and Abalone in the World.

100% of what you see is natural nacre. The polymer is optically clear and nothing else has been added. The nacre has been crushed and separated by granual size. The impurities removed and reassembled in the M3 matrix with a small percentage of an advanced precious polymer; made in the USA.

The result is not just beautiful:

Strong, no ring core needed

Finished products will be almost unbreakable and will not chip or break if dropped from a reasonable height or normal use

Heat safe to over 300° f.

Dishwasher safe

UV safe
