A car thief in Beaverton, Oregon, reportedly stole a vehicle that had been left running outside a grocery store, only to realize a 4-year-old child was sitting in the backseat.

According to reports, after discovering the child, the suspect actually drove back to the scene, confronted the mother, and scolded her for leaving the child unattended in the vehicle.

The suspect reportedly made sure the child was safe before getting back into the stolen car and driving away again.

An unusual story that left many people online joking that even the thief apparently had limits 😅
