One of the highlights of this journey was running into the one and only fashion icon and star of Netflix’s Young, Famous & African — SWANKY JERRY🔥

He’d just finished his workout and we ran into him during breakfast. It would the only morning we decided not to get dressed before heading down so you know I was gagging when I ran into him and wasn’t all fly and s**t! LOL

I asked him if anyone ever told him he looks like Swanky Jerry. He laughed and said “I’m Swanky!” I saud “You lying!” and was grinning like crazy. Once i got over the initial shock, we ate chatted for quite some time.

He’s so down to earth and a dope human being. Although he’s born & raised in Nigeria, he films the show in Johannesburg. We learned so much about the man behind the fashion & the show.


Just know that if you’re ever blessed to sit with him you’ll walk away proud and inspired.
