Meet my pet blue death feigning beetles (Absolus verrucosus) 🪲🩵

As you can see, tailless whip scorpions are VERY fast and tend to be skittish, nervous pets when handled which is why they are better off as a “look-don’t-touch” pet. They are very delicate as well and could easily be accidentally injured if handled by someone inexperienced. Of course, they’re so cool and sweet that it’s hard to resist hanging out with them for just a little bit 🤭

I do feel sorry for the keyboard warriors who can’t loosen up and enjoy a fun, educational video about an incredible tarantula but that is their cross to bear, not mine! I have a video coming out soon on “how to handle a tarantula” and these clips and some of this info will be in it! But the biggest rules are: understand your tarantula’s body language, always be calm and use slow, gentle movements, and always keep a makeup brush and a catch cup nearby just in case! ⚠️Attempt what I do at your own risk.
