Our Fall Outing brought the team together for a day of design inspiration and hands-on creativity.

We started with a guided tour of Blazing a Trail: Dorothy Waugh’s National Parks Posters at , followed by a bookbinding workshop at .

Definitely a day well spent!

In the countdown to 2023, we’re featuring the GHD team’s favorite designs from 2022!

Melina designed these wall graphics for Amazon Charleston. By combining nature and literature, these graphics explore the origins of Amazon as a bookstore and the rich history and environment of Charleston.

For example, Edgar Allen Poe lived and worked in Sullivan’s Island which is called out on one of the maps. The map is then paired with local flora playing off of the the theme of Amazon’s literary “roots”.
