CPR-Center for Performance Research
Supporting artists in the development of new work in dance and performance, providing affordable spa
And just like that, CPR's 2022 Spring Season comes to a close, and we thought we'd look back at some of the amazing moments!
This spring, we were grateful to continue in-person programming, providing artists with space to process and share their work publicly, many of whom were returning to the stage for the first time since the pandemic. We welcomed so many new faces and were extremely moved to witness our community grow not only in numbers, but also in love, care and deep support.
BRAVO to all the artists, curators, CPR staff, technicians, event managers, audiences, and supporters! Our hearts are filled with gratitude for each and everyone of you who made all this possible.
We can't wait to see you back in the fall for another amazing season! 💚💚💚💚💚💚

CPR opened its doors in 2009 with the vision of creating a sustainable, affordable, process-driven space for NYC's dance and performance community.
As CPR enters its 15th fiscal year (!!) tomorrow on July 1, we remain passionately committed to these founding principles, while celebrating how we've built upon this mission to establish CPR as an important incubator for new work, supporting an ever-expanding community of exciting and experimental artists. ⚡️
Will you help us celebrate CPR's 15th year of process-driven artistic experimentation with a gift before midnight tonight?
A contribution of any amount – $25, $75, $150, or more! – will be so meaningful as we close out an exciting and monumental year.

Image Description: Kate Williams sits in a small, pink, electric toy car meant for a child, wearing an over-sized t-shirt with a fake bikini, a blond wig, and mirrored sunglasses, with her face painted white. She has one hand on the steering wheel, and the other hand holds the edge of her sunglasses, peering over them at the audience.
