Thank you so much Sougato Da and Shakuntala Di for inviting us to be a part of your beautiful event, SAMAREGA. We had a wonderful time performing at your place - it was truly a heartwarming experience.
Although we missed The Monks’ soul bassist Gundappa this time, as he recently started the beautiful journey of fatherhood, he’ll be back with us soon.
For the time being, a big thank you to Koel for stepping in on bass and bringing great energy to the performance. Your support meant a lot.

The newest Monk has arrived and our family is now one stronger!!!
Many many congratulations are in order for Sukanya and our bass player Gundappa, who have just become parents to a beautiful little baby girl on July 5!
Mom, baby, and the band’s groove have never been better! So while we work on a kickass baby photo with a “Bass Baby” onesie, the music’s gonna be back soon! Until then, keep rocking!

We’re excited to share our cover of “Ranjana Ami Aar Ashbona” — the timeless classic by Anjan Dutt and Amyt Datta that continues to inspire us all 🤘
We had the honor of performing this song live at the Bengali Association of Delaware Valley - BADV during their 25th Silver Jubilee celebration — Ananda Sandhya as part of our Boisakhi Tour 2025.
💫 Fun fact: Anjan Dutt and Amyt Dutt themselves performed at BADV during Durga Pujo 2024! It felt special for us to celebrate their music on the same stage that recently hosted them.
