Come on babies!!! A chicken was sitting on call duck eggs for me but abandoned the nest when the chicks with the call ducks were ready to explore. I quickly brought them into the house and put them in incubator hoping, they were half hatched and chilly when I found them. So far so good….
I have two incubators of call duck eggs incubating, the last of the season. The first egg shown is a little over a week in, the second egg is about 2 weeks in.
Oh how they love a good watermelon!!!
The new critter on the farm!! Muscovy ducks!!!
It was time to go vertical in the peacock enclosure. This gives them more space and I moved the roosting bars higher. They seem happy

From the frosty mornings of the North to the humid summers of the South, Harlequin sheep are built to thrive! 🐑💪
Don't let their small size and adorable spots fool you: Harlequins are one of the hardiest miniature breeds around. Whether they’re growing a thick, crimpy fleece for winter or staying active in the summer sun, these sheep are remarkably resilient and easy to manage in almost any climate. They are the perfect choice for families and small farms looking for a sturdy, low-maintenance breed that’s as friendly as it is tough.
At the Harlequin Sheep Society, we’re proud to support breeders from coast to coast. We believe that managing your registration should be as personal as caring for your flock. All of our registry services are handled directly by the society's dedicated team. When you need assistance, you’ll receive human-to-human support and expert help straight from us, ensuring the integrity and ease of the official registry.
Explore the breed standards and see why Harlequins are the right fit for your farm at harlequinsheepsociety.org!

These 3 cutie Harlequins are heading to Kentucky today 🥰. They will be missed 😢 If you missed out this year, contact me this fall for a wait list for next Spring’s babies :)
Call ducks are extremely hard to hatch out. They make it to lock down and typically something goes wrong and they almost always need assisting. I did not have a good hatch this is my only survivor and he looks soooo much better today. Go little guy go!!
