Our prayers have been answered. I am happy to announce Stevee is negative for CANCER!!!!!! We received an email from our vet with results on the biopsy that where done on the summer sore, they all came back negative for squamous cell carcinoma CANCER. Hurry, I can finally sleep. I've been so worried. We are still not out of the woods with the end of his p***s, it is starting to look a little better. Ive also been dealing with a spot on Spotz face, again summer sore. 🤬 PLEASE,PLEASE clean your gelding & stallions. I cant stress it enough. Its not fun, but if that's what it takes to prevent summer sores it's worth it. Keep in mind some horses are more prone then others. Make this part of your daily check. After this scare I put Swat around the outside the sheath before they go out just to keep the flies away from that area. Again preventative is the best way to go. We've been so consumed with Stevee and what's going on with him we haven't had a minute to give an update on Lefty and Snoopy. They arrived Sunday to there new home Therapeutic Riding Center of Huntington Beach. They seem to be adjusting well, having a little fun in turn out.
