Odd couple observed! This is a 40 gallon bioactive mixed small species enclosure. There's lots of places to hang out but this lizard and this snake both wanted the same basking spot at the same time so they shared it!

This little tree frog is living life and growing!

Got a project tank for Aaron's fish!
Big trash day scored us a 65 gallon tank with a stand.
Leak testing revealed some leaks. Lots of sweat equity, razor blades, acetone and new caulking was in order.
All the old caulking was scraped and cleaned out and replaced!
Currently leak testing again!

Aaron and Dad went flipping logs and tin recently and flipped an adult and a baby speckled King snake! One of our favorites!
They are harmless and gorgeous and known to eat other snakes including copperheads and rattlers.

We took a drive out to the country in the nice warm weather. Aaron got to practice his hook skills. We found 3 copperheads and a cute tree frog.

Aaron always wants to check behind Dad's work for snakes and lizards. Yesterday paid off with this big gravid (pregnant) female Western rat snake! Free rodent control!
