China APT confirmed to have compromised several U.S. Treasury workstations and apparently had elevated their access to gain access to several treasury DO users and their “non- classified” documents (allegedly).

Treasury workstations hacked by China-linked threat actors According to a letter sent to Senate leaders and obtained by CyberScoop, the compromises occurred through third-party software provider BeyondTrust, which provides identity and access management security solutions.

Just a reminder, even if the text/email seems ok, don’t trust it.. you are better to go to the browser yourself and directly (manually) enter the website link as you KNOW it, or by using Google and reviewing the Google search.
