How Suede It Is
Hand burned, custom pieces for everyday life or special occasions.
Ive realized something lately.
I'm not just making hats.
I'm creating little pieces of the life I love.
Wildflowers. Worn leather. Fresh herbs. Open skies. Quiet magic. And flowers that are perfectly imperfect.
Because the things we wear should tell our story.
They should let us carry a little bit of the life we love wherever we go.

August birthflower custom in progress.
The customer has no idea this is whats coming.
I actually started with a completely different design and wasnt feeling it. Instead of forcing it, I went back to the drawing board and started over.
The first photos are my hand sketched concept. The flowers are Poppies and Gladiolus, the birth flowers for August. The last photos show the burned outline starting to come to life.
Next up: shading, depth, and all the little details that make a hat truly one of a kind.
Sometimes the best pieces happen when youre willing to scrap the original plan and trust the process.

"How long does it take you to make all these? 2 years?"
"I would buy all of them if I could."

Sydney is seriously the sweetest soul, and seeing her style one of my hats absolutely made my day.
If you haven't checked out Country Chic Boutique yet, you need to. Her shop is full of the cutest pieces, the best vibes, and the kind of small-business heart that just shines through in everything she does. ๐ค
And can we talk about how amazing she looks in this hat?! ๐ She styled it perfectly and seeing my work out in the wild on beautiful women like this never gets old.
So thankful for kind humans supporting handmade and cheering each other on. Go give Sydney and her shop some love, I know you'll love her as much as I do! ๐ค

Dust and Gold
This one feels extra special to me.
Hand drawn, hand burned sunflower and wildflower design, custom ribbon with gold stitching, vintage inspired rivet details, and gold foil along the brim and the crown for just the right amount of glow.
Soft neutrals. Western soul. A little bit boho. A little bit wild prairie.
Every hat is one of a kind and completely created by hand-this one might be hard to let go of. ๐งก๐ค
